Well after speaking to the Origin boys in camp yesterday I am
totally convinced that the Blues can turn things around next Wednesday night. Sure
there are injuries and also some form concerns but I got the feeling that the
Blues know what they are facing and this 4 year hoodoo is about to end.
At least
I hope so.
I'm more confident about the Dogs tonight against the Panthers. Let’s have a
look at the 2 teams. Bulldogs winning and on top of the ladder missing just
one, while the Panthers out of form and missing Petero, Lewis, Jennings and
Coote. It’s a no brainer. The Dogs will be winning whether I tip them or not.
The fact
is they are in such good form and they also have just re-signed Idris and
Roberts so expect big games from them.
1 Saturday night game means a long wait for us footy fans and it’s the Cowboys
and the Roosters. Look, I know the Roosters played well last week and also
against Manly but they still didn’t win. So why are they favourites??? They
have a great record in Townsville but if they lose this they win the wooden
spoon and the Cowboys we are talking about being in the top 4. So why are they
favourites??
I dunno but it’s bad odds for a bad team, even without Thurston, O'Donnell and
Bowen.
Cows to win.
Sunday on paper looks to be the easy picks of the weekend. Melbourne at home
and Manly at home.
In the last month both sides have only lost 1 game and are both impossible to
beat at home lately so that’s why we should jump on them again.
I know they have lost a lot of players but even so I still think the fact that
Orford and Cronk are both running the shows for the sides then Melbourne and
Manly are my tips.
Best of the weekend. Manly are my best and also actually found Manly in the Toyota
Cup at about 1.75 against Canberra. Manly are very strong so take them in the
double with the big boys.
Good
luck
